Chances of success
Demon’s Revenge has been having trouble getting off the ground. With the initial campaigns, one of the issues was the price tag. The current version of the campaign has reduced the goal considerably. I think one of the main problems the campaign is facing is a lack of social media support. Looking at the Demon’s Revenge Facebook page, there are only around 150 fans. This is quite low in terms of the usual number of fans a successful project’s Facebook page usually has before a launch.
But, where the campaign lacks in social networking, it does, at least in part, make up for it in other areas. An update was released after the first day. Early backers, including those who came from previous campaign attempts were thanked for their support. They are also looking to get onto Steam Greenlight, which would help them quite a bit in terms of distribution and have a proof of concept demo, which is linked to on the campaign page.
