Legends of Chaos: A Fantasy Role Playing Card Game is a competitive card battle game in the same vein as Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon. It should not to be confused with the iOS game similarly titled Legends of Chaos HD.« Continue »

[Campaign Review] Starlight by Creative Genius
Starlight by Creative Genius is a mobile platform game looking for funding support on Kickstarter. When I first looked at the project, my initial thought was that the style was somehow reminiscent of ‘The Little Prince’. “Starlight is an adventure platform game riddled with puzzles, traps and opportunities for exploration, where you play as both Timothy Brave, a boy afraid of the dark, and Altair, a shooting star, on a journey through a world almost completely devoid of light.”

[Campaign Review] STORYSCAPE: Digital Roleplaying System
STORYSCAPE is described as a digital roleplaying system by its creators at Slabtown Games. It is essentially a virtual tabletop RPG engine. It therefore can be used for a broad range of roleplaying games normally played using pen and paper. STORYSCAPE: Digital Roleplaying System seems to be a product with a lot of potential, and while it is still early in the campaign, there seems to be a fair amount of initial support.« Continue »
[Campaign Review] D12 Machined Metal Fudge Dice: Variety Anodized Colors
Dice King Game Designs is in reboot mode as it lowers its goal and reduces the costs of its tiers for the D12 Machined Metal Fudge Dice: Variety Anodized Colors campaign. The campaign, as the name might suggest, features metal fudge dice that come in a variety of colors. These dice are of course a lot heavier and are designed, at least in part, with collecting in mind.

[Campaign Review] Doublesix Dice: Roll Better
If you’re an avid gamer, you might know the pain of a d6. After all, cubes aren’t exactly the perfect shape when it comes to rolling. That must be what the creators of Doublesix Dice thought when they came up with a d12, which has each number printed twice. This gives the exact same result as rolling a single d6, but with a much smoother roll.« Continue »
[Campaign Review] Athar: An Immersive MMORPG
If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m a huge supporter of unique games that break the mold, and so I introduce to you Athar: a full immersion war game integrating live action game play with software tracking. Athar is essentially an innovative laser tag game which also combines virtual story elements. Or is it a massively multiplayer role playing game that also combines the immersive game play of laser tag? Athar utilizes various technologies already in production to keep track of player data in the “real” world and then relays that data to the game server, thus bluing the line between “reality” and the digital world.« Continue »
